Three Awards from the Ministry of Manpower


JAKARTA, MONDAY, April 22, 2019 - PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), one of the Sinarmas Group companies that focuses on the energy and infrastructure business, received three Zero Accident Awards from the Ministry of Manpower. The award was given for the achievements of three DSSA subsidiaries, namely PT DSSP Power Sumsel, PT DSSP Power Kendari, and PT SKS Listrik Kalimantan, in implementing the Occupational Health and Safety (K3) program at the 2019 K3 Award at Bidakara Hotel Jakarta, Monday (22/4).

The award was received by Mr. Lokita Prasetya (CEO of DSSA energy business), accompanied by Mr. Rudy Djunardy, Mr. Otto, Mr. Boyke Nugroho, and Mr. Awaludin Latif as the third representative of the company's management.

In addition to the three zero accident awards, one of DSSA's subsidiaries, PT DSSP Power Sumsel, also received the Golden Flag award, the highest award for implementing the Occupational Safety and Health Management System (SMK3).

The event was attended by Minister of Manpower, Mr. Hanif Dhakiri and Minister of Transportation, Mr. Budi Karya Sumadi, and was also attended by representatives of companies receiving SMK3 awards, representatives of companies receiving awards for HIV/AIDS prevention programs, a number of Governors, provincial Kadisnakertrans, and other invitees.

Minister of Manpower Hanif Dhakiri in his remarks emphasized the importance of OHS implementation and supervision, and encouraged the OHS culture to be applied more widely in the community.

"I want to congratulate and succeed companies that have consistently experienced zero accidents, so they get the K3 award tonight. I really appreciate this achievement and hope that companies that receive K3 awards can be role models for other companies," Hanif said.

Mr. Lokita Prasetya expressed his gratitude for the appreciation given by the Indonesian Government and for the maximum efforts of all employees and stakeholders in implementing the K3 management system.

"Management is committed to implementing the OSH management system consistently and continuously throughout the company's operations so that it is expected that risks that are not desirable and which can cause losses can be anticipated," said Lokita.

Supported by more than 2,000 employees in various locations in Indonesia, DSSA currently has three PLTU independent power producers / IPPs.

The IPP of Sumsel-5 PLTU with a capacity of 2 X 150 MW in Bayung Lencir, Musi Banyuasin Regency, South Sumatra, is managed by PT DSSP Power Sumsel, and has been operating commercially since December 2016.

The IPP of Kendari-3 PLTU with a capacity of 2 X 50 MW in Konawe Selatan, Southeast Sulawesi, is managed by PT DSSP Power Kendari, and is expected to be able to operate commercially in 2019.

The IPP of Kalteng-1 PLTU with a capacity of 2 X 100 MW in Tumbang Kajuei, Gunung Mas Regency, Central Kalimantan, is managed by PT SKS Listrik Kalimantan, and is expected to be able to operate commercially in 2019.

In addition to the three IPP PLTU, DSSA also has four captive power plants located in Serang, Tangerang, and Karawang.
