MoraRepublic Officially Established, Ready to Support Inclusive Acceleration of Indonesia’ Digital Ecosystem

Jakarta, 23 April 2026 – PT Ekamas Mora Republik Tbk (“MoraRepublic” or “IDX: MORA”) has been officially established as an integrated telecommunications infrastructure and fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) services company, following the merger of PT Mora Telematika Indonesia Tbk and PT Eka Mas Republik. This strategic move marks an important milestone for MoraRepublic as a subsidiary of PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk (DSSA), part of Sinar Mas’ energy and digital infrastructure pillar, in supportingIndonesia’s digital agenda and advancing equitable development across the country’s digital ecosystem.

Effective 22 April 2026, the newly appointed Board of Directors and Board of Commissioners have assumed their roles, bringing together leadership from both legacy organizations. This structure reflects MoraRepublic’s commitment to strong and balancedcorporate governance, customer-centric decision-making, and innovation driven by a long-term vision.

 

“This is more than a corporate merger—it is a strategic step toward strengthening Indonesia’s digital ecosystem,” Timotius added.“The combination enhances MoraRepublic’s competitive position, while also creating greater added value for all stakeholders, including customers, employees, the state, and shareholders.”

 

 

Company Commitment

 

Prior to the merger, Moratelindo operated as a Network Access Provider (NAP) and Internet Service Provider (ISP) with experience since 2000 and is one of Indonesia’s largest telecommunications backbones (fiber optic) providers. As of September 2025, Moratelindo managed more than 57,000 km of fiber optic cables and six data centers with a total capacity of 3.3 megawatts, serving over 16,800 enterprise customers, nearly 1 million homepass, and more than 296,000 retail customers.

 

Meanwhile, MyRepublic Indonesia is a leading FTTH provider serving more than 1.52 million retail customers with high-speedinternet services of up to 1 Gbps. As of September 2025, the company operates more than 58,000 km of fiber optic cables and over 8.7million homepass.
