MyRepublic Indonesia Secures 1.4 GHz Spectrum to Accelerate Broadband Expansion Across Indonesia
Jakarta, October 18, 2025 – MyRepublic Indonesia, a leading fiber broadband and pay-TV service provider under PT Eka Mas Republik, a subsidiary of PT Dian Swastatika Sentosa Tbk, announced that it has been ranked as the top participant in the 1.4 GHz frequency band auction organized by the Ministry of Communication and Digital Affairs (Komdigi) of the Republic of Indonesia for two regions: Region 2 (Sumatra, Bali, and Nusa Tenggara) and Region 3 (Kalimantan and Sulawesi). PT Eka Mas Republik will be officially designated as the auction winner upon the issuance of the Ministerial Decree by the Minister of Communication and Digital Affairs.
This achievement marks a strategic step for MyRepublic Indonesia in expanding its high-speed internet coverage and strengthening the country’s digital connectivity, particularly outside Java Island. Through the utilization of the 1.4 GHz frequency band, MyRepublic Indonesia aims to extend broadband internet access to underserved areas, ensuring more equitable connectivity for communities across Indonesia. This initiative forms part of MyRepublic Indonesia’s ongoing commitment to building an inclusive and evenly distributed digital infrastructure nationwide.

MyRepublic Indonesia’s decision to focus on Regions 2 and 3 was based on strategic considerations regarding the immense potential of Sumatra, Bali, Nusa Tenggara, Kalimantan, and Sulawesi—areas with high connectivity needs but relatively low internet penetration. By leveraging the 1.4 GHz spectrum, which is ideal for Fixed Wireless Access (FWA) due to its wide coverage and infrastructure efficiency, MyRepublic Indonesia can accelerate the expansion of quality internet access to more communities without compromising network performance.
The company believes that its FWA services will complement its existing fiber-to-the-home (FTTH) network, creating a synergistic ecosystem that enhances connectivity experiences for customers across diverse regions.
