HR is one of the key contributing factors to the success and sustainability of the Company and subsidiaries. Therefore, good HR planning and management is one of the main priorities of the Company and subsidiaries.
At the end of 2020, the Company and its subsidiaries had 1,843 employees consisting of 1,584 permanent employees and 259 contract-based employees. The headcount decreased compared to that in previous year, of which the Company and subsidiaries employed 2,525 employees. It resulted from the divestment of 75% of the Company’s interest in PT DSSP Power Mas Utama and its subsidiaries on December 23, 2020. The number of employees working at the Company (excluding subsidiaries) was 595 persons. The Company’s employee turnover rate in 2020 was 9.3%. This figure shows a decrease compared to the turnover rate of 14.8% in 2019.

The Company provides equal opportunities to employees who have good competency, good characters, and good work ethics, to develop his/her career professionally and be promoted to higher vacant position, regardless of ethnicity, religion, race, and age. The Company and subsidiaries also seek to provide equal opportunities regardless of gender. However, until December 31, 2020, the Company’s and subsidiaries’ workforce was still dominated by male workers. This is because the Company and subsidiaries’ business fields are dominated by power generation and mining businesses.
